The Pacaya Volcano Experience invites guests to discover one of Guatemala’s most remarkable natural landscapes through a private day journey designed with comfort, guidance, and scenic discovery in mind.
Your journey begins with comfortable private pickup and departure from Clarion Suites Hotel in Guatemala City, followed by a transfer to Pacaya Volcano, one of the country’s most iconic active volcanoes.
Upon arrival, you’ll be accompanied by a local guide who will lead the ascent through volcanic terrain toward a scenic viewpoint located at approximately 2,200 meters above sea level. From this point, guests can enjoy striking views of the surrounding landscape and capture memorable photographs of the volcanic scenery.
The journey is designed to reach a panoramic viewpoint, offering a beautiful and accessible way to experience Pacaya’s natural presence.
The ascent typically takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on the pace of the group. For guests who prefer additional support during the climb, horse rental may be available on-site at an additional cost.
At the end of the visit, your private transportation will take you back in comfort, bringing the experience to a relaxed and seamless close.
